These photos are reportedly going to make a lot of folks cry...beyond the scientists that already admit to crying at first view. Supposedly spectacular.

When I visited a minute ago they had 4 images released. I downloaded a couple of them. They are big files - the first one was 140mb. Pretty spectacular though.

Imagine what Galileo, Kepler, or any of the 16th or later astrophysicist would say with those pictures.
I, personally, would like to hear what Brian May would play as a tribute to James Webb.

Released yesterday..."Floating in Heaven" with Graham Gouldman/Brian May. :) Available on all streaming services as well as for purchase and download.

My best friend that developed the micro shutters says they got spectra of 40 galaxies in that first photo simultaneously. He says one of them is a red shift of 8.5, which is pretty early in the history of the Universe.
