A gloat, I just scored a Super Nova chuck and three sets of jaws for $8. I'll have to buy the threaded insert to fit my lathe. $ 27 at Amazon. Jim :D

Sometimes the woodworking gods do smile on you. It was interesting that they had a Jet 1642 EVS lathe that they were asking $2850 for. An estate sale. I picked mine up for a school auction for $1085 and a trip to Darby, MT. It was in excellent condition too.Jim

Good find! Estate sales can be crazy since things are often priced by someone without a clue for value.
