I may of made a mistake teaching the wife how to turn--just kidding-- heck I am tickled she is having fun.

Hay Gary, that's great. Sign her up in the mini club. Great gob on the captive ring. If she can get two at the same time and a little more open, then she can try the interlocking rings. May be a little tough in the cedar though, however worth a try.

Indeed she has!!! Her output in numbers may not equal your output in volume but she sure seems to be having fun. Great to have your wife share your hobby.

Now we're talking. I think anything made at the lathe is neat, but I made a top and the kids all want one now. Are some of those oak? Is the dowl popular. What kind of finish is on them to protect the little one's. Inquiring minds wants to know.

Thanks Ernie---I have got a bunch of folks started---a few have even stayed with it.
Bernie---If you get her started---two of everything---are you sure---oh and don't forget the stuff she wants that you do not use. Margie has a Axminster chuck now.
