About to start the set of Craftsman style swinging (not overhead) garage doors. Constructions is rather straight forward except for the windows. Need some direction on building the grills/frames. I want square muttons(?) and real divided lights. Not the typical router made rounded muttons.

I have never done anything like that and I have an idea of how. But I could really use some input. Photos would be nice.

jeff, not knowing what tools are at your disposal i`ll be vague...make the window unit(s) removable from the door(s), use mortise and tennon joinery to affix the mullions and muttons to the sash frame and make certain that the unit will shead water. the small grove on the underside of window sills is to prevent water from traveling uphill and into the support framing. only use dap brand glazing compound to install the glass. it works better warm and lube your knife with linsead oil........02 tod
