I just scoped out some beaver activity this morning. I wonder what they taste like? Probably better than muskrat! Possum tastes like chicken.
A buddy of mine is a mail carrier. A guy on his route shoots woodchucks and makes jerky out of them. He gave a bag to my friend (Mike) who took it into the mail room and offered it around with the statement "hey, have you ever tried moose?" Everyone tried it and liked it. His supervisor, who must be a few brain cells smarter than the rest said, "I thought moose meat is dark meat, Mike, what is this?" "Why thats woodchuck" was the reply. She wasn't very happy with him:eek: :D :D :D
