Just installed a cherry breakfast nook in a newly constructed Craftsman style house. I still have two cherry window bench seats to do, as well as the built-in's on either side of the fireplace. The floor is wide white oak plank and the trim in the house is vertical grain fir. The cherry makes for a nice contrast. Lots of lumber in this one!

That is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good, Alan, that I'm NOT going to let my DIL and son see this post. They have a space like that and I would be trying to do something for it. Yours is beautiful. Like the storage, too.
