2 boxes, from leftover scraps..

Was getting quite a pile, too....went and sorted out the best of the mess...resaw to a consistent thickness...some needed to be glued up into sides of these boxes..
One box used finger joints at the corners, the other used through dovetails...

Plane is for scale...Boxes are headed to a Family friend who is getting married...

End details....the one lid has a collar...the other just a flat panel...just bits and pieces...some Ash, some Red Oak...scrap bin is now almost empty..
