I have the fixed base and want to put it on the router. Removing these four screws should allow me to pull the motor out of the plunge base? Nothing in their manual.

Thanks.

Sorry can not help with your question, I am not familiar with Freud routers. Question number one - is your router compatible with any bases for router table?

I couldn't find a listing for an FT2200. On my Freud FT2000, to remove the motor portion from the base you unscrew the depth adjust knob and slide the motor up off the tubes. The tubes are pinned into the base plate. I believe the screws you are looking at will disassemble the motor based on the parts explosion (https://www.manualslib.com/manual/53648/Freud-Ft2000vce.html) Your router looks very similar to the FT2000 VCE.

Can you post a picture of the fixed base?

Thanks Lee. I didn't want to just starting taking it apart, works now didn't want to ruin it even if I used it as is. Brian
