Just a quick mention of a simple little product that is handy and works well. Sort of woodworking related, at least for those who use tape for one thing or another....
Heard about these from Vic Tesolin:

The are inexpensive, more portable than a desktop tape dispenser, and easier to use than a tape gun for most anything other than sealing boxes. They are easy to put on and give you a nice square tape edge (although the cut edge is serrated).
