I've recently got a job to build some hardware display boards and the customer wants 1/8" solid color inlay strips. My usual sources (Constantine's, Rocklers) don't seem to carry solid colors except black. Any suggestions would realy be appreciated.
TIA

What about just using 1/8" solid wood? If you don't want to thickness it yourself there's quite a few places that sell stuff already at 1/8". I think Woodcraft & Rocklers carry 1/8" wood. You wouldn't get any greens or blues, but reds, browns, off-whites would be available. You'd also have to cut the strips yourself and sand them flush after gluing them in, but it might be an option if you can't find anything else.

Thanks, Doug. I was actualy looking for thinner stock but the 1/8 thick might work for me.
