Sorry if this is a re-post but I didn't find any threads related to this news item.

Apparently this guy was found walking down the street carrying his own severed arm after cutting it off near the shoulder on a bandsaw.

I followed the link and then looked up more recent stories.
OSHA quickly closed their investigation because the man was not an employee at the store.
The man was treated and released from hospital. Sounds to me like no reattachment was attempted.
The police investigated and no charges have been filed.
The arm was severed “near the shoulder”

This story just gets weirder.

I wouldn’t know. I usually see or make them unconscious when they are in shock.
