Here is some pictures of a 4ft X 12ft conference table that I built and donated to our local Fire Department. They wanted me to build them one and offered me much money, so I donated it for their new Fire Station. This was in Burlington Kentucky.

Do you have any close-ups of the leg bases - that looks interesting. I bet you'll never have to worry about a slow response the next time you call ;)

Great looking table Charley.
What a great gesture to donate it, even though they offered to pay you. :) :)
Perhaps that money can be used to purchase some life saving equipment which will benefit everyone in the community.

Great looking conference table. That's something I've always wanted to build. Now you've got a few chairs to make:D. Congrats on a job well done.

That's beautiful, Charlie as is your generosity! :) The pedestal assemblies are wonderful! How about some details on those? :)

The pedestals were actually featured in Wood magazine a couple years back. They for for a small round kitchen or breakfast nook table. I beefed them up a little and made three of them to support the extra lenght.

Glad my fire dept buddies aren't around looking at that. God knows I would have some explaining to do!!
Great job on the table and even better on donating it! :)
