We have ways.....it was The Boss's GreatUncle's little shop vise...:cool:

So, now it is in MY shop, to be used when need be....:D

Then it can be stored over on a shelf, until the next time it's needed....oh, and, eat yer Wheaties BEFORE you try to move this thing....:eek:

There were a couple of vises mounted on 2Xs to fit in my end vise.

My saw vise is still used in the end vise:

Great way to hold things the wood faced vise can't handle.

I thru-bolt a metalworking vise to a piece of 1x4 so I can hold it in my ww vise = working in house instead of the cold garage.

I don't think a bench vice embracing a metal working vice is a 'vice'. Mine has been doing it for years.

I do like to keep my vises in line and my vices a little naughty.

I have mine mounted on a piece of wood. I drilled 3 holes to match dog holes in bench corner. I have three oak dowels with plumbing pipe cap on one end. To use the vise l, I secure it to bench by these dowels. Rest of the time vise stays in storage.
