In pursuit of making a completely hidden hinge for an upcoming project, I've come across these:

combined with some bushings it should work for my application. Ideally the mounting holes would be slotted to allow for side adjustment. However, the only suppliers I've found are in the EU/UK.

Is there another name or application for these, so that I have better luck finding them in N. America?

Try concealed pivot hinge, or straight knife hinge. Cabinet door or full sized room door? Good luck.

It needs to be seperable. The project has small cabinet-sized doors. Not heavy.

The brusso pivot hinges are separable and might work for what you need, although the pivot is at the end of the bar not in the center.

The piece you show looks like half of the passive part of a gravity pivot hinge set, so you might look at those too, if you don't mind throwing away half of it.
