I received the following 2 letters from the troops showing the project is still providing the uplift in morale among the troops.

Gentlemen,
Thank you for the beautiful pens you sent over here to "The Sand Box".
One of my Sailors handed me one a couple of days ago and I marveled at
the craftsmanship, time, and thought that went into creating these works
of art. Then I found the flyer with you email addresses and I felt that
I had to reply. My Sailors and I are over here at Camp Patriot in Kuwait
supporting the Soldiers and Marines "up North" in Iraq and Afghanistan
with our cargo handling skills as we unload the supply ships and load the
returning troop's gear onto those ships to return home. We are proud of
what we do in their support and appreciate the thoughts and prayers from
home. Sometimes we see the news and wonder if America has forgotten what
made our country great; the blood, sweat, and tears of her service men
and women. But then we see and receive the wonderful support of fine
people like you and it makes us all the more proud to serve such a
wonderful country.
Thank you again.

Respectfully,

MMC(SW) Cxxxxx Hxxxxxx
Naval Expeditionary Logistics Support Force, Forward Charlie

Thank you so much for your gift. I was in receipt of one of these beautifully constructed pens here at Camp Patriot in Kuwait.

I want to thank the men and women at Freedom Pens for their unwavering support of our servicemembers stationed overseas in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Knowing that citizens of our great country support us is all that we can ask for. Also, I would like to thank Zane Colville whose name came along with my Freedom Pen. Thank you, Zane!

May God bless the people at Freedom Pens and Zane Colville! And, I can't wait to get to the Lehigh Valley!

Respectfully,
