Here's an idea that I came up with while looking at the sad state of my spring clamps. After many years of use, the rubber pads on the gripping ends had worn through, exposing the bare metal. Where could I get replacements? Then I realized that the hand grip part of the spring clamp had perfectly pristine rubber grips and, furthermore, they would fit perfectly in place on the worn gripping end of the clamp. No need to buy a whole new set of clamps! The worn ends worked perfectly on the hand grip ends. Anyway, I thought I would share this discovery with others who might have a shop full of worn clamps.

Thanks for the tip. Another thing that might work is Plastidip liquid. LINK (https://www.amazon.com/Plasti-Dip-11602-6-Plasti-Dip/dp/B009YO1HWS/ref=sr_1_7?keywords=Plasti+dip&qid=1641691064&sr=8-7)

I was going to say plasti dip, or heat shrink tube.
