Made from White Oak and Walnut first turned each circle symbol was hand carved then pyrography oil color pencil rub n buff for the gold sun and a satin lacquer finish size 12" D 8" tall with the base 4" without.

Impressive piece of workmanship. How was the outside ring made, the large one? Turned?

Thank you very much Robert; yes the very out side ring was turned then wood was carved away making each Zodiac medallion symbol, then each ring was hand carved around each of those medallion symbols.
