Bill, nice looking turning.

Is that a hollow form? How thick are the walls? :)

Geez! That thing is huge.

Or did you forget to resize the dime?

Or is our currency being devalued again?

Pretty stuff, Bill. Thanks

I don't care about the size being a little big; it's purdy! (Kaching)

Bill,

I appreciate all these little tiny things you guys make, but after my experience today, I can REALLY appreciate a tiny burl thing

Good work Bill!

Hi All'
Thanks for the kind words.

Clem, yes it is a 100% Hollow form. Unfortunately, I do not possess a tool small enough to get in to a form of this type, in order to gage the wall thickness, however it is very, very thin walled. When the walls of the small turnings begin to get thin, the turning begins to sing in a high pitch.

I know the turning is larger than some I have turned. The size is relative in the 1/2" scale world, in real life the vase is less than 12" tall.

With the cost of this type of wood, I am not going to waist a chip.:D
