Powermatic 720HD??

What happened to the now discontinued Powermatic 720HD mortiser? I recently became aware of this model and it appears to be a desirable model. Was it overpriced, or was it too similar to the 719t? I wouldn't mind finding one if anyone here knows of one.

Might be that they are losing ground to Maka. We used a lot of the “hollow chisels” in making window sash, no matter how carefully they
are used they just don’t last long. If you want a Powermatic ,I’m sure you will find one.

The price increases on powermatic, and large power tools in general, have been shocking. If it wasn't a top seller, I can imagine cuts being made. Just guesswork on my end though.
