Please forgive the poor quality photos, it was the best I could do that day.
The cabinet is made from Curly Walnut and has a Wenge door. The door catch, strike plate and button are made from Ebony. The righthand side of the cabinet has a finger recess carve to allow easy opening of the door. I wanted the lines to stay clean so I opted for the carved recess vs a pull.

What do you have planned to store inside?

Dale,
Nicely done. I like the door catch and the walnut back will make a delightful surprise when the bottle is removed ;)

Thanks for the comments guys! The cabinet currently holds a bottle of Ardbeg 10 yr. It's nothing fancy but one I have favored over the years, also a good price point for what the bottle holds.

Very nice, Dale. I’m contemplating a similar finger recess on a wall clock I’m working on. I realize it’s not a complicated thing, but could you post a close up of that feature? I’m just thinking through options, and would like a better look at what you did.
Thanks in advance.

Careful the bourbon guys don't learn this. They will fling all manner of insults and horrors on you.
For me, I'll just ask when the bar opens?

Thank you, Dale. That’s a nice feature. I think I’m going to copy that!
