single wine bottle holder

Does anyone have a design for a single wine bottle holder? I have seen pictures (somewhere!) of a holder using a counter-balanced system.

The small end of the bottle is inserted through a hole, and the weight of the bottle holds it in a standing position (the bottle is horizontal, and the holder is pretty much vertical).

I think that holder is more L-shaped. The "foot" of the L extends under the wine bottle. I've seen it as a one-piece plastic holder. In wood, you could make it from two straight pieces, or make it a bent lamination.

Gary, I think that the one that you are talking about is in the December/January (Issue 167) of Wood magazine on page 8. Title is "More that one way to hold a wine bottle". I saved it back because I thought that it was really neat.
