Ive been a consistent user of rechargeable headlights and had several VR3 Suprabeams that Lee used to sell. Of the last two one escaped and the other is now floppin. Its either too high position or it falls to the bottom and will not lock into any of the other positions. I tried to take it apart thinking maybe an adjustment but dont see it.

Has anyone had this issue and solved it? If my tool and die grinder friend was around he would fix it. Im thinking of some McGiver solution like a blob of Duct seal on each side so its basically just trapped in the putty but still moveable. For now I put the thing on my head crooked and try and get the light where I want it.

Anyone recommend something equal quality or better I know there are a number of manufacturers of rechargeable headlights. I always ran two so one was in use other charging. Used them for everything even finishing re shingling my roof into the night a number of days.

I'm glad I read the whole post, I had never heard of Rechargeable Headlights.
Cheers,

Tim

life changing. No longer a Yute and now considered a senior seeing stuff is a challange. Even with machine work up close or in shadows its night and day and its always aimed where you look at you work. I cut my parents lawn many times into the night in the last while getting it ready to sell. I have a few battery ones that are not rechargeable and ones I have are junk compared to the Suprabeam. Lee does not sell them anymore.

The company is out of Denmark. Hope this helps. Dan

thanks that's a lesser model not as powerful. The ones ive had are the V3Pro Rechargeable. They were about 180.00 canadian at lee originally. Going to email a Detailer I know in LA and see what he was last using. Lighting was pretty critical to that craft.
