This is the latest piece I've done with my new Hollowmaster. Thanks to the advice I got here, I'm gradually getting better with it.

BTW - I know my pics are horrible.

It's Black Walnut with a Cypress top for some contrast, 8 1/2" x 4', finished with Old Masters Tung oil Varnish (somebody gave it to me) and Beall buffed.

Lookin' good Cody! This form reminds me of the Lava Lamps that we all had in the 60s.:D That old Hollowmaster can be a bear to master. You might want to take a pic of this piece against a light background since the majority of the wood in the piece is dark.

I like the shape Cody....nice lookin' piece. Looks kinda tight for a hollowmaster though..Musta been a little skeery!

Hope you don't mind. For some reason, the picture was so dark that I couldn't see it. I lightened it a little. Here it is. Very nice.

From what I can tell Cody that is a good looking piece. For a piece this good a lighter background would let us all see it better, thanks for showing it to us.
