Today I bought a box of saws off marketplace, there was a thumbhole rip saw that I thought was a Disston D8 but turns out it's a Bishop.
I also found this somewhat cute, for lack of a better word, Disston crosscut saw. It measures about 12" long, has two nuts in the handle, and is quite comfortable. It's an interesting find

There used to be tool kits for kids with real tools in them. This could be from one of those or it could be a saw for small jobs.

I'm with Jim on this. It looks like the first and saw I owned, a Christmas gift from my Dad when I was 10 or 11.

My recollection is Disston made some saws for Buddy L Toys. The images found searching those shows saws with three bolts.

I've had this in the To Be Restored bin for awhile now. Warranted Superior emblem with Dec 27 1887 pat date and a very faint etch. I remember my older brothers friend's father had a childs woodworking tool chest but i was very young and not allowed to touch it.
Found this picture on the internet but no details
