Just finished buffing out this ambrosia HF today, it some of the wood I bought from Jim last year. This piece has the most figure of all the blanks I got from Jim.
It finished out at 9" x 4-1/2" and is 3/16" constant around the sides and top, the bottom is 1/4". It is finished with Watco and Gel Poly and then buffed with the beall system.
Thanks for looking.

Great job on the HF, Dick! I agree w/John H. on it being quite unique and the wood is gorgeous. Man, you're getting the wall thickness right down there too, aren't you?:D

It's work like this that pulled me to the dark side. That's some great inspiration!

Unique form, Dick! I see something in that ambrosia, just not sure what yet...think it's a dog standing on it's hind legs!:)

Carol I see it too:eek::eek::eek: Very nice HF Dick but Carol is right I see a dog on it's hind legs begging for food. Like laying on your back looking at the clouds;)

I wonder what some of these folks would do on a Rorshack test?
No, better not, some of them are better off being left out of the booby hatch, then put in, because then, they probably would commit me, and I have enough trouble staying out of there myself...Jesse ;)
