All of these boxes are made for my In-laws and Out-laws. They are all made of poplar with oak at the bottom. The veneers are all different. All of the dyed wood is tiger stripped maple. I'm working on believe it or not fourteen mare as we speak. The boxes that I posted on One more for the road was for my grandkids. See Ya

You really do need to stop that! You're going to make me want to quit!
Absolutely beautiful work. You should stop giving them away and start selling them.

These look really nice, Charley. I particularly like the one on the right. Add another vote for more close-up shots.

Charlie,
Very nice! I too like the one on the left. The geometric pattern is neat! That inlay work must be very time consuming.:p

Those boxes are just plain BEAUTIFUL!
 How long have you been doing this? I've bought some books on inlaying, trying to get the courage to attempt like this (well, maybe not quite like this).

WOW. How do you do that tight detail work? I love to learn that kind of detail but since i am self taught it is kind of hard to teach myself. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks Josh
