Drum sander advice

Any one know anything about the G1079 sander? How would it work for sanding segment rings and small pieces

Dunno about the G1079 but I've used by Supermax 1632 for that purpose. Works great and doesn't take up too much space.

Thanks, my brother offered to let me try his woodmaster sander next time I needed to flatten some parts, I am looking for a used 718 from woodmaster,ever here of this machine?
