Some lodge pole pine ready (dried) for rustic furniture construction? Is there a supplier out there that provides..say...1-3" diameter poles in....call it 4'-10' lengths??
Don't really know where to start looking, maybe some Northwest mill? Does it have to be lodge pole or are there other varieties of pine that would work? May be nice to have the bark still on, but I fear that may up the price. And what should I use to finish the piece....waterbased poly? creosote?
I want to use these for horse jump standards and cavalettis.
Thanks, Kurt
