While back cut a dangerous tree for a friend. A month later she showed up and added different flowers to my garden. She wasnt sure of the name of this one at the time. I was looking it up and thought maybe a Cardinal Flower then dont think so. Anyone know what it is called.

Looks like Crocosmia Lucifer, beautiful flower and it will multiply easily.

Your welcome, we have several in our garden, it also comes in orange and yellow which are just as nice but shorter. Just noticed the hummingbird in the photo I linked, they love the ones in our yard also.

We have it all over our yard and it started with a single plant years ago. When it gets too big you can dig it up in late fall and divide the corms and plant them in new places. Magnificent plant- very hardy, a great cutting flower, and the humming birds love it. Just started to bloom here about 5 days ago.
