A look in past these doors...
460095
Unlatch, West Door swings right out, East Door has to be propped open...East Door first..
460096
A few hammers, and eggbeater drills. Thing at the bottom is a Level, wood bodied...Turn to the North a bit...
460097
may have to step back a bit....see how many toys you can ID.....
460098
Planes t the bottom of the chest....No. 8 carries a spare in the trunk...
460099
Bottom at the West wall...Stanley No. 3, Type 11s....West door?
460100

Theory being, things I need for the day's work, I can open a door, grab what I'll need, and then close the doors back up....keep most of the sawdust OFF the tools inside..
460099
Bottom of the West Door..
Hope you all enjoyed the $0.05 Tour...:D

Steven,

Lots of tools stored where you can get at them without digging through a pile in a drawer or carpenters tool box, (my current problem), so it looks mighty handy. I am hoping to build some storage within the next year or so which will make my situation a lot better too. Not sure whether the storage will be a tool chest, a tool cabinet a little like yours, or some sort of a drawer chest.

At any rate, I remember some of the pictures you posted before you started with the upgrading of your tool storage, and you have really done some good work in improving your tool storage. You have posted several different storage projects, which have been appreciated. The pictures of storage you have posted, as well as pictures of storage from lots of others on the creek will help me firm up my own ideas.

Good job, I hope to get there also, or at least improve my situation a lot, in a year or two.

Thanks and regards,

Stew

Looks like a great home for a full selection of tools that all get used. Thanks for sharing.

Best,
Chris
