I was just resonding to a thread on another channel and had a thought. Yeah, I know that's pretty rare for me....

Anyway, The tilt and raise/lower screws on our saws get stiff and squeeky from time to time. I've used a dry teflon spray in the past that sprays wet and dries to a dry film. I was just wondering if the spray on wax lubes for bicycle chains would work. Reportedly, they don't attract dust or dirt. Has anyone tried this??

Lee,

haven't tried the bicycle stuff, but I use Boeshield T9 and it works quite well.

I haven't tried that Lee, but I have been looking for a good alternative. Good idea, :D when I find some and try it I'll report back.

Yes I use the finish line teflon bicycle lube... It works fine and is an excuse to stop by the bike shop...

Lee,

That's a great idea. My son works at a bike shop, I'll have him bring me some.

Thanks,
Bob
