Hi all, the last couple of weeks I think everybody I know has been giving me wood, last week it was Madrone, today it was black walnut. All these slabs are 4 to 6 inches thick and a couple of them I'll be able to get some two foot bowl blanks out of them.
I just heard from Craft USA my Oneway 2436 should arrive in the next 2 to 3 weeks by than I should have enough wood to keep me busy for the next year.
I hope the pictures come out because it was dark and the wood was still wet from hosing it off.

Frank,

If I were you I would remove my location from the profile and store that wood in a vault. :D :D

Man... that is some terrific looking wood you have there. You can almost watch the ideas flowing looking at those pictures.

Bob, I've been incredibly lucky on the wood I've been getting. I love walnut and that happens to be about the most common of woods around here, there's probilby a hundred walnut orchards in a 20 mile radius around me, not to mention all the walnut trees in peoples yards.
