What can you tell about this Brand of Multi Plane ? Found one new in the box with a complete set of cutters, never used. Is it junk ?

There are companies who excel at making items looking like tools. It seems they make little or no effort producing something to work like a tool should.

As found in an Antique store a few years back....$5 + Tax.....

The plane that the OP is asking about....is a knock-off/copy of the Stanley No. 45.......again, way too thick nickle plating....OP would have to sharpen the cutters before use.
