I finally finished the David Marks Walnut bench project. I economized by using Sapele instead of walnut. I used some left over Mahogony for the posts. I used General Finishes Seal-a-Cell and then many coats of Arm-R-Seal Gloss Topcoat. I used 0000 steel wool between each coat and then used Arm-R-Seal semi gloss for the final coat with a buffing after that. Some pics show the bench during finishing, some after.
I don't know exactly where it is going to go, but it was fun to do. My wife likes it, and she is the one that let me buy $8 million dollars of tools to build it.

Now I am on to his copper top sofa table made of walnut, with wenge feet and copper patina top in a solid walnut frame. Should look like this when I am done.
