SawStop TSG-FDC Dust Collector?

I'm thinking about purchasing a SawStop TSG-FDC for my ICS but wondered if it's possible to add a blastgate between the hose and guard. A blastgate located in the usual spot at the connection to the unit would be cumbersome for my setup. I already have the TSA-ODC dust collection setup but never use it because of the hassle in installing the guard.

I just used to use my Festool vac with the blade guard. That plus the DC connected to the saw worked pretty well.

I have the overhead blade guard with a blast gate hooked up to my ICS, but that's another animal.
