Turning wood chunks into Spheres

How do I get rid of this obsession? The character I am finding in some of the wood chunks I used to discard is incredible.

Feed the obsession! Beautiful work. It would be a moral transgression to quit.

Perhaps you could stop long enough to make some display stands.

The black doesn't detract from the color/figure of the wood. I made a variety, about the same diameter but different heights for variety.

I'm using a Vermec Jig. Kinda of an expensive purchase, but I'm enjoying the ride!!!
