I got a good deal on some 30 amp two pole GFCI breakers for my shop rewiring. My question is can I run a tablesaw etc that is 240 volts but with low voltage controls. Seems like the control transformer or even 120 volt solenoid control would be an
blanced 240 load and trip it out. Am I stuck with only 240 volt controls?

Bill, The 240V GFCI monitors both hots and the neutral current. It will not trip on unbalanced loads unless the cause of the imbalance is current flowing into ground somewhere.

As Bill indicated, your application poses no issues for a GFCI protected circuit.........Rod.
