Hello from Milwaukee,
Just got a mini lathe for Christmas and started turning pens with my son. We hope to start donating some to the pen project here.

Looking forward to learning from everyone.
Ron

Welcome to SMC Rob. I have been pen turning for about a year os so, but still a beginning turner. I have come along to a place to buy good pen kits...
www.woodturningz.com. Ryan is a very good guy, offering his kits "the next price down" from PSI. I would rather give my money to a small business owner than a larg corp. I have never had a problem with those guys.

Any questions feel free to ask, I still have some question to go through as well.

Hello Ron,

I too am new to the forum and a Milwaukee native (close, Oconomowoc but I work in Franklin) but I have been turning pens and bottle stoppers for years and recently small bowls. If you have any questions, let me know and I'll try to help (though I am far from an expert).

Welcome!
Jason

Welcome Ron.... I just don't understand how many keep falling into the lion's den. Did someone leave the upstairs trap door unlocked?

Hey... stick around.... this group is a hoot.

Welcome aboard Ron. I am a new turner also. Lots of knowledge and great folks here.

Bob did you say lion's den or Andy's den?
