One of my local shops took delivery of a Hammer A3-41D (planer-only) recently. I stopped in to take a few pics since this is a much less common machine than the standard A3-41 we sell so many of. Customer had been getting by on an ancient straight-knife machine. Even though the Hammer was still on its skid, he was super-impressed with the cut quality off the spiral head. We were talking and I noticed this old SC4W. Lo and behold, I actually sold him that machine during my Minimax USA days, at least 15 years ago. It was long in the tooth but still running fine. What a flashback!
