Hi Folks,
Can anyone tell if any special precautions should be taken when milling Accoya? Or precautions with leftover scrap? For instance, with pressure treated wood I don’t put it in the burn pile and I’m more careful to not inhale the sawdust.

Jeff, Accoya was one of the primary products we sold when I was in the A&D world. It’s basically vinegar that they treat it with. Machines extremely easily and no toxic dust. Aside from the fact that it smells like acetic acid after you mill it, no hazards I am aware of. Hope this helps.
