Small video monitor

Any recommendations on a small video monitor?

I'm looking for a small (8-10") video monitor I can switch between multiple inputs: at least HDMI and composite video. It would be nice if it had multiple composite inputs.

So far I've purchased two different monitor from Amazon.

The first seemed to function but would not display video from any source! The second displayed video and allowed switching inputs but the remote did not work. (The supplier offered to have a new remote shipped from China.)

Both of these were cheap Chinese products, less than $100. I'd much prefer to pay more an purchase a quality monitor if I can find the right one. Any ideas?

I use a backup camera screen off Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01BUZHLBY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1) for my hollowing rig. Works fine. only one input at a time, I think on most monitors of that sort you'll need a HDMI or composite switch. It's not exactly a quality piece of equipment, but works fine for the intended purpose. I've also used it as the demonstrator's monitor for our club's live remote demo setup. I put a magnet in a block of wood on the base and it stays put on the headstock of my lathe.

Actually I think Roger is onto something there. My new service truck has a backup camera and screen. The screen can have 6 separate inputs. It's about a 10" screen. Check into motor home backup and sideview cameras also. Another possibility is the cameras used in agriculture on equipment for seeing what's happening on a wagon or grain cart that you can't see around or over. These may not be what you need but it's a start. The one in my work truck has a remote also.

Thanks, I'll take a close look at those. I don't need the split screen mode or the cameras but at first glace some of the monitors look pretty good.

(I put one with a smaller monitor with a camera in my livestock trailer so I can keep an eye on the llamas on the road. :))

My video guy son also suggested looking an a multi-input A/V converter with HDMI output which would allow feeding a variety of inputs to a monitor with just one HDMI input.

But even those won't accept a composite input without a converter.
