For those of you that jumped on the Record vise sell @ Big Lots like I did. Don't go back and buy the Shopsite adjustable 12" roller stands. Wow :( What a piece of junk. It looks like the legs were bent over somebody's knee rather than by a machine. They say fold up " NOT " and you can't get it to stand up straight. At least I couldn't. I'm finished venting now. I needed a boat anchor anyway.

I was at the Home Depot this morning and saw a box of Worksite roller stands. They were completely different than the ones that I purchased from Big Lots. They were twice the price ($19.95) but much better quality. They were made from square tubing rather than bent angle.
So my comment does not apply to all of their products.
Sorry if I caused any confusion or hurt feelings.

I totally agree with you Don. I was so xxxx that I almost took them back. If it hadn't taken more money in gasoline to get to Odd/Big Lots, I would have. As it is, I'll eat the money and tuck the experience away in the "I should have known that $10.00 roller stands from Big Lots were too good to be true" file!

I have two of these from Sears:

Craftsman Multi-Action Work Support Sears item #00922293000 Mfr. model #6102458

They were on sale several months ago for $19.99 (regular price is $29.99). Like most Sears tools they go on sale once in a while. Just watch the Sears ads.
