Looking for a lock for a cabinet door. Full mortice, skeleton key. Online search turns up some but they show a very basic key. I want something a little more secure so it can't be picked with a chopstick. A slightly more complex skeleton key will be fine. Security is not the real issue, it's about quality. I'd like a lock that works smoothly and with a key that will not snap off due to poor metal. Any suppliers to suggest?

White chapel hardware, a wonderful selection.

Horton brasses has a few, not sure if the key is what you're looking for. They make wonderful hardware.

I would agree, either Horton or Whitechappel are good sources for quality cabinet locks. They both sell A & E Squire locks from England.

Tom,
I would recommend Ball and Ball in Exton, Pa. They have quite a good reputation and have been around for some time. I believe ome of their merchandise is made on site. Jack
