I have a Dewalt 733 planer with knives that are not indexable. It includes a knife setting jig that is woefully inaccurate. I researched spiral heads, and it seems The 733 and 734 use the exact same head. Not sure I want to spend all that coin on an old planer like that. So I am thinking one of you might have upgraded your 734 with a spiral and maybe I could install the head you remove in my 733. If the helical heads are interchangeable between the two planers it might just fit. Tons of 735 cutterheads selling on eBay from people replacing them with spirals but no 734s. If you got one what would you be asking?
