For years I've had a clamp rack that only held about half of my clamps. The rest were leaning in a corner taking up more space than was necessary. Since there isn't much else one can do to keep busy these days, I've been cleaning my shop and making things. One of those projects was a new clamp rack. completely mad from scrap pieces of plywood. There is some baltic birch, birch veneer, oak veneer, and plain old interior BC grade. It not only holds all of my clamps, but it also has room for a few more.

The second item is an in feed extension table for my table saw. It is a craftsman saw with a Beismeyer fence. The extension table is also made from a variety of plywoods. The only purchased items were the two toggle clamps that hold the table in place on my fence. This table can slide anywhere along my fence tube and even has a groove that will align with the miter slot on the saw table. The legs are assembled with pocket hole screws and have leveling feet so it can be precisely leveled to the saw table. The table is about 52 inches long and not quite 24" wide. It will fold up to be just under 2" thick. The table can slide right up against the rip fence as well for support of long pieces that need to be ripped.

I wish I had built this table before my recent garage renovation project where I needed to rip 17 sheets of 1" foam insulation to fit between the floor joists to increase the amount of insulation in the floor.

Nice Lee. Gee, infeed tables seem to be the rage today. Think I might go build one..

Sometimes practical upgrades make the most sense and improve the ability of one to enjoy their shop. Well done Lee!
