Hi,
I am probably behind the learning curve here, but has anyone used any "Lyptus" wood before. I found some at a hardwood lumber store today and it was reasonably priced, but I had never used it before. Internet search shows that it is a hybrid hard wood from South America and is supposed to be very easy to work with and has properties similar to mohagany and is very dense. It looked really nice, but I wanted to hear from someone who has worked with it before I shelled out the money. I would be using it for cutting boards, which it is supposed to be well suited for.
Thank in advance!
Robert
