Epilog EXT Beam slamming.

I have an EXT 40 watt Epilog. I have not used it for a couple of weeks. I started a new job, the tube was not firing-it often takes a minute to get going. The machine suddenly moved the main beam Y xis to hit the front of the machine. I quickly switched it off. Made sure everything was moving OK. Switched it back on and immediately the beam slammed to the front of the machine. Checked all electrical connection . No improvement.

Any one had the same problem?

Years and years ago: the only time the gantry slammed the front of the enclosure was when we plotted from AutoCAD and the sheet size was mismatched. We print exclusively through Corel Draw and have never had a problem.
