A Case for a Combo plane

Needed a case to store a second combo plane. got some 1/2" thick Pine boards, cobble some hand cut box joints, added some Gunstock stain, a couple coats of varnish and printed out some labels

Had no idea how much room the cutter holder would need...went more with how much room the plane itself would need..try this for size..

A screwdriver, a beading stop, a pair of the long rods, the case of cutters ( a No.2 Box) and the fully assembled plane.....Like the case was made for it?


Older cases were either Pasteboard...some were sheet metal....while others were wood, with a sliding lid ( that usually got stuck, broke, or lost) None came with any handles.
