Thanks for posting that Mr. Katz.

As I read it, I kept thinking "Look at all these people who thought so highly of him as a craftsman, teacher and human being. He clearly left a mark on the world. What a fine way to be remembered." I found myself wishing I had known him personally.

There's a lovely poem written by his nephew at the end of the article, if folks page all the way down.

Rest in Peace Mr. Lowe.

Terribly sad news to hear this.
What a great craftsman he was, proper honest skills and humble to boot.
You don't find that too often.

For anyone unfamiliar with Phil's work, they should look up the series on youtube titled 'The art of woodworking'
He covered, a whole lot of skills in those episodes.
I'm sure many are very saddened that they never got the chance to thank him for the knowledge they learned from him.
No doubt he inspired many to take up the craft.

My sincere condolences to his family and friends.
