I'm building a set of walnut barstools for a kitchen island and am deciding on a finish. My usual for walnut and is a coat of Watco Danish oil for aesthetics (color) followed by multiple coats of either Waterlox or GF's Arm R Seal. I've recently played around with the Osmo Polyx and Top Oil projects on some small (box) projects and have been impressed. Both are very easy to use and I like the look and feel of the final finish.
I'm wondering if either of the Osmo products would be good for the barstools, mostly in terms of durability in a kitchen with a fair amount of use? Also if there's any issue with using them over the Watco?
Thanks,
Mike
